To respond actively to the advocacy and promotion of “Educational Innovation” theories and practices, and to promote the cooperation and cultural prosperity of the academies and international organizations, meanwhile, discussing the long-term development of China’s education under the background of economic and cultural globalization, and the positive impact of the advanced educational philosophy and pedagogy, research achievements on China’s education, on January 14th, 2017, “The Exploration and Practice of China’s New Education” symposium was held by Jingxi Educational Research Institute at Western Academy of Beijing.
More than a hundred educators from NCCT of MoE, Beijing Institute of Education, The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Beijing National Day School, Harrow International School Beijing participated in this symposium. Prof. Zhu Yongxin, Vice Chairman of Central Committee of China Association for Democracy Promotion, Vice President of China Education Association, Founder of "New Education Experiment" National Scientific Research Project, was invited to deliver the Keynote Speech ”Live a Happy Life Full of Education”.

The Inter-University Program (IUP) is a Chinese Language Studies Program set up by a consortion of 15 American top universities, Tsinghua University, Jingxi Educational Research Institute (JERI). The consortion of 15 American Universities conclude: Columbia University, Cornell University, Harvard University, Indiana University, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, Chicago University, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, University of Virginia, Yale University, University of Oxford. The Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies of Tsinghua University was initially set up in 1963 in Taiwan, and transferred to Tsinghua University in 1997 and renamed at the meantime. IUP is the earliest Chinese Language Studies Program in America, at the initial stage of its establishment, it was committed to providing the advanced Chinese language training tothe undergraduate students, the postgraduate students, the professionals and well-known scholars. For over 40 years, the graduates of IUP Program received outstanding achievements in the areas of Education, Government, Law, Public Relations, News, Management, Diplomacy, etc.
